The platform operates within a harm-reduction approach, offering responsible and structured solutions rather than recreational or promotional use.
My role in this project was building a modern, high-performance frontend using Next.js and Tailwind CSS, while integrating the platform with WordPress as a backend system for managing products, customer data, and orders.
Business & Domain Understanding
This domain is highly sensitive and requires a responsible, transparent approach. Users visiting the platform are typically looking for support or alternatives to help them reduce dependency, not for entertainment or misuse.
Because of this, the project required:

• Responsible presentation of products
• No misleading or promotional framing

Modern and High-Performance Frontend
The frontend was built using Next.js and Tailwind CSS to ensure fast loading, smooth navigation, and a consistent experience across all devices.
WordPress as Backend and Database
WordPress was used as the backend system to manage products, customer information, and orders, allowing easy administration through a familiar and flexible dashboard.
Orders Management System
All orders submitted through the frontend are stored and managed within WordPress, making it easy to track, review, and handle customer requests efficiently.
Clear User Experience
The user journey was designed to be simple and direct, guiding users from product discovery to order submission without unnecessary steps or confusion.
Design Decisions
The design focuses on clarity and responsibility, using a clean layout, readable typography, calm colors, and generous spacing to support trust and usability, while respecting the sensitivity of the domain.
Challenges & Solutions
One of the main challenges was integrating a modern Next.js frontend with a WordPress backend without compromising performance or stability. This was addressed by structuring API requests efficiently and keeping the frontend logic clean and decoupled from backend complexity.
Another challenge was ensuring the platform’s message remained responsible and unambiguous, which was handled through careful content organization and clear product presentation.
Final Outcome
The final result is a fast, reliable, and responsibly designed platform that supports users seeking to reduce dependency through structured alternatives. This project demonstrates my ability to build modern frontend applications with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, while integrating them with established backend systems like WordPress for real-world, production-ready solutions.
